Is a MAXX^TM Heat Press the best machine for me?

The Maxx heat presses are an economical line for those producing shirts as a hobby for friends and family, or using for occasional professional use.

For very large men’s shirts, should the neck be used as a guide when applying chest prints?

We suggest using the neck seam as your guide. The neck seam will obviously be larger for this size shirt which will move the print over slightly. You still want to make sure that the print is not under the arm or on the side of the body. By following the neck seam you are guaranteed it will not be too far over.

How far from the top of the waistline should you come down when starting a leg transfer?

This will vary depending on the size of the garment, but the transfer should be placed past the start of the inseam. We recommend starting just below that seam.

Can I apply over a seam?

Seams can cause application problems due to uneven pressure. Some 6-panel hats have inwardly sewn seams for easier application. We suggest testing application over a seam prior to placing your order.

How do I know where to place the print?

Easy Prints^® are printed on ruled paper to make placement easy. On a full-size print, the horizontal line will cross at the armpits and the vertical line will center with the tag on the garment. On heart size prints, the bottom of the print lines up with the armpit horizontally and the vertical center lines up with the shoulder/neck intersection. Click here for more information.
