How To Profit with T-Shirts

Pricing is the key to a profitable new custom printed apparel business.

To price for profit, we recommend you add your apparel cost and print cost, then double. This is your selling price. So if you purchase 50 T-shirts at $2.00/each and order one-color printing for $1.70, you would have a total cost of $3.70 per shirt. You would then double this for a total of $7.40, your selling price per custom printed shirt.

This quick formula will cover basic costs such as overhead, shipping, and labor. However, if a premium service such as overnight shipping or rush service is needed, these fees should also be added.
