| 1. Prepare your machine |
For Hotronix®
Temperature: 305°
(other
machines at 315° or higher)
Pressure: Med/Firm 6-8
Allow for warm up time. |
 |
Preheat
Bottom Pad
Before applying, lock the top platen down for 60 seconds.
This helps the ink to flow properly during the application. |
| NOTE: These recommended time, temperature and pressure settings are for Stahls' Hotronix® heat seal machines. Settings on other heat presses may vary based on their inconsistencies. |

| 2. Preheat Garment |
 |
A. Place garment on platen
B. Press for 3-5 seconds
or until there is no more steam to remove wrinkles
& moisture.
C. Check to be sure there are no obstructions such as buttons, pockets or seams. If there are, raise print area only with Print Perfect pad or mouse pad. |

| 3. Remove the backing paper |
| Remove the backing paper from the transfer and discard. You should be left with the transfer on a clear plastic carrier. |

| 4. Position & Press |
 |
A. Place the transfer on the garment. You should be able to see the transfer as it will appear on the garment.
B. Close the machine.
C. Press for 5 seconds |

| 5. Peel |
 |
A. Open the machine.
B. Peel off the clear plastic carrier quickly in a smooth, even motion. |
|
| 6. Cover and Press |
 |
A. Cover with the white transfer paper provided.* The transfer paper can be re-used.
B. Close the machine.
C. Press for 5 Seconds
* A cover sheet has been provided. However, other cover sheets may be used for different finishes. (Ex: Teflon Sheet, Kraft Paper, Flexible Application Pad, etc) |

| 7. Peel |
A. Open the machine.
B. Peel off the transfer paper quickly in a smooth, even motion. |
